Padding Expense Accounts

• Using your favorite search engine, find two current technologies that help employees save time and money when completing expense reports. Try using the search term "expense reports."
• Ask your parents to get an expense report from their employer for you to review. What categories of expenses are on the form? Why do you think that companies require detailed accounting for expenses?
• Prepare a written summary describing the expense form that you have reviewed. Include a review of the technologies or software used for expense reporting.
