RFID Credit Cards
Gas stations were some of the first major retailers to start using radio frequency identification (RFID) credit card technology. Within a few years, the big credit card companies, such as American Express and MasterCard, began experimenting with it. When it‘s time to pay, the RFID technology scans the credit card information and processes it. The customer does not even have to take the card out of a wallet, much less swipe it through a machine.
