My Pyramid Plan

Recommended Amounts for Food Groups

Directions. In this activity, you will create your own personal pyramid plan. You may want to print this page to follow the directions.

a. Click on www.MyPyramid.gov and go to My Pyramid Plan. (Or type www.mypyramid.gov into your Web browser. Be sure you type it exactly as shown.)

b. Enter your age, gender, and physical activity. Submit your choices.

c. The results show the amounts you should eat from each food group. Use the results to complete this form and submit your results to your teacher.

d. You will also need the results to complete daily menus for a week, so print the results or e-mail them to yourself.
