Job Benefits

As you compile your "Benefits Information" section, consider all the benefits that an employee in your chosen career cluster is likely to receive. Remember that benefits vary in type and amount from field to field, from company to company, and even from employee to employee. For example, most employees who receive health insurance must pay a monthly contribution. Some employees can choose their health plan, while some cannot choose. At some companies, employees with greater seniority receive more vacation days and other benefits than junior employees do.

Consider these and similar factors as you create your benefits profile. Then decide which benefits are most important to you and why, as well as which benefits you would be willing to do without. Use this information to help you choose the job that fits your needs.
