Organize the "Credit Management" section of your Personal Academic and Career Portfolio into categories that are relevant to your life now and in the near future. Include categories such as "Types of Credit," "Credit Cards," "Student Loans," "Mortgages," "Credit Reports," "Car Loans," and so on. You may also choose to add information related to specific tasks such as "choosing the right credit option," "managing my credit report," and "paying off debt." Include the names and contact information of credit bureaus where you can check your credit report, and list any loans or debts you currently have and your plans to pay off each one.
Being organized and on time is one of the most important aspects of managing your credit. In your portfolio, describe a system that you will use to organize your bills and pay them on time every month so that you do not fall behind.  |
