By studying these ancient coins, we can learn about Persian culture. In this activity you will take a closer look at the history and design of Persian coins.

5			Persian coins depicted their kings as strong leaders so that their power would not be questioned. What do you think our coins will say to future generations? Write a one-page essay stating what you think our penny, dime, and quarter will convey to people 2500 years from now.
