Examine various letterhead stationery layouts, and then choose one to re-create on your own.

Read the information below and examine the 16 “linked” stationery layouts. Answer the questions below in the space provided and click Submit.

Then, following the instructions in the textbook, choose one layout and re-create it with your own contact information and images.

Find More Templates on the Web With your teacher’s permission, use a search engine to seek out Web sites that offer more letterhead stationery layouts. Here are some keywords you might use: stationery, letterhead, layout.

Activity
Customize the template of your choice for your personal or business use. Open the link with the letterhead you have chosen. Double-click the file to open it and then, follow your teacher’s instructions to name and save the template for your personal editing.

Replace the sample text with your appropriate information. For templates that contain a logo, image, or place-holder for an image or logo, insert an image or clipart of your choice. (Note: Avoid using copyrighted material without permission. In general, Microsoft® Word allows you to use any of its included WordArt for personal use.)

To use a template after you create it, click New on the File menu in Word, select the template, and then click OK.
