Working for a Temp Agency
Figure It Out  You are paid $5.50 an hour at your at your job through a temp agency. You work 25 hours a week. The agency receives 13 percent of your earnings. How much will the temp agency receive weekly?

Step 1  Calculate your weekly pay. Multiply your hourly wage by the number of hours you work per week.

Step 2  Convert the agency's fee to a decimal.

Step 3  Multiply the decimal by your weekly pay.
