After You Read

1. Answers will vary but should contain the basic idea that a career consists of all the related jobs a person does throughout his or her lifetime. You should name examples of general careers and not just a specific job title.
2. Answers should indicate that work takes up much of a person's time, usually Monday through Friday, and that daily schedules are usually planned around work.
3. People work to earn money, to be around other people, to help others, and to feel good about themselves. Your explanations of the most important reason to work should show thought and an understanding of the reason mentioned.
