Introduction
All teens need to find ways to express their feelings. One of the healthiest and most interesting ways to do this is through art of some kind. On the Web site below you will learn about a musician named Moby who explored the different ways teens are expressing themselves.

  • Start at the PBS – In the Mix web site.
  • Read the “Self Expression, Self Esteem…Around the World” page. Then click on the “Arts Education A+” link at the bottom of the page and read it as well. Be sure to check out some of the links on both pages to see actual examples of how teens are expressing themselves through art. Take notes as you read.
  • When you are done, answer the questions below.
