A: "Vela Vela" is the "welcome" song of the Chicago Children's Choir. We perform this piece at most of our concerts because it's an enthusiastic way of opening a magical concert. Q: What is unique or special about this piece of music? A: "Vela Vela" is special because it is a very simple piece of music and the harmony is easy. This piece can be a challenge for some because the rhythm is syncopated, but after practicing this piece over and over again, it becomes mastered. Q: What was it like preparing for and performing on From the Top? A: Preparing for and appearing on From The Top was an amazing experience for me. I love to sing and perform for all types of people and audiences. Everyone there welcomed us with open arms, and it is an experience I'll never forget. |
