Introduction:

Benjamin Franklin was a Founding Father of the United States who pursued many other interests, such as publishing and scientific experimentation.

Task:

Have students create custom bookmarks to highlight Ben Franklin's scientific achievements. They may visit these sites to get started in their research.

Time:

1 class period for reading and creating bookmarks

Alternative:

Have students make duplicates of their bookmarks to share with classmates.
