Introduction
What would you do if you were at a concert and someone suddenly collapsed? What if you saw an accident and you were the only one who could help the victims? Learning how to respond to medical emergencies until trained professionals can arrive is a good idea. On the Web site below you will read about the basic steps in caring for someone who is injured. You will also learn how to protect yourself so you do not become one of the victims.

  • Read through the page and take notes as you go.
  • When you are done, answer the questions below.
