This booklet provides ready-to-use materials for working with children ages 3-6. Informational handouts and forms provide background and organizational materials. The 80 activities offer many options. To aid selection, each indicates the materials needed, appropriate ages, and skills developed. Preparation and presentation procedures are listed step-by-step. This revised and expanded booklet provides the latest information on brain research, including factors that contribute to, and detract from, healthy brain development in children and adults. Coordinates with The Developing Brain Transparencies, sold separately.

Inclusion in the Developing Child Classroom (0-07-868977-5)

This booklet gives background information about a variety of special needs, from cognitive impairments to ADD to giftedness. It suggests practical strategies for teaching students with these needs. In addition, specific teaching activities and accommodation ideas are suggested for each chapter in the text.
