Ever since she worked as the editor of her high school newspaper, June has been interested in a career as a journalist. After majoring in journalism in college and completing an internship with a large city newspaper, she is ready to begin her career. June is discovering, however, that newspaper jobs are hard to find. After several months of searching, she has been offered an opportunity to work at a small-town newspaper over the summer. The newspaper can only pay her a small salary. She also has been offered a position as a waitress, which will pay her very well. June has college loans to pay off.
