Introduction
Students have read “The Roots -jud-, -jur-, and -demo-” and completed three exercises to learn the following new vocabulary words: abjure, adjudicate, conjure, demagogue, demographics, endemic, judicious, jurisdiction, jurisprudence, and perjure.  In this lesson, they will test and solidify their comprehension with a fun activity.

Lesson Description
Students will complete a crossword, using all of the above vocabulary.

Instructional Objectives
Students will be able to match word definitions with their respective vocabulary terms.
