Introduction
Students have read “The Root -gen-” and completed three exercises to learn the following new vocabulary words: congenial, congenital, degenerate, gender, generic, genesis, genre, heterogeneous, primogeniture, and progeny. 

Lesson Description
Students will complete a crossword, using all of the above vocabulary.

Instructional Objectives
Students will be able to match word definitions with their respective vocabulary terms.
