Introduction
Students have read “The Roots -flect- and -flu-” and completed three exercises to learn the following new vocabulary words: confluence, effluent, fluctuate, fluent, genuflect, inflexible, influx, mellifluous, reflex, and superfluous.

Lesson Description
Students will complete a crossword, using all of the above vocabulary.

Instructional Objectives
Students will be able to match word definitions with their respective vocabulary terms.
