Introduction
Students have read “Vocabulary from French” and completed three exercises to learn the following new vocabulary terms: au contraire, coup d'état, élan, esprit de corps, faux pas, laissez faire, nouveau riche, par excellence, savoir-faire, and tête-à-tête.

Lesson Description
Students will have to choose between two terms to best complete each sentence.

Instructional Objectives
Students will understand the differences between the vocabulary terms and be able to use each of them in a complete sentence.
