Activity Lesson Plans

Introduction
Students have learned vocabulary words that begin with the prefixes ex- and extra-. Before students begin the activity, you might have them brainstorm for additional words that begin with these prefixes.

Lesson Description
Students will test their vocabulary knowledge by completing a Fill-in-the-Blank activity. When they are finished, they can check their work.

Instructional Objectives

  1. Students will identify the vocabulary words that fill in the blanks.
  2. Students will practice using the words in a cohesive paragraph.
