Introduction
Students have read about the technical areas of theatre and the crews—stage, props, lighting, sound, costume, and makeup—that support and enhance each performance. They have also read about the safety tips that are important for these crews to follow. Before having them complete the choose-one activity, you may wish to have students create posters illustrating the safety precautions that always should be observed while working in theatre.
