Activity Lesson Plans

Introduction
Students have read about the roles of the director and the producer in the making of an onstage production. Before students complete the column activity, you may wish to divide them into two groups, assigning one group the role of the director's staff and the other the role of the producer's staff. Have members of each group explain their responsibilities in the making of a production. Discuss how the teams can interact efficiently.

Lesson Description
Students will complete a column activity to review the roles of the director and the producer in the making of an onstage production. Students will be asked to classify each task as a responsibility of either the director or the producer.
