Tobacco use and secondhand smoke have many health risks. Resisting tobacco reduces your risk of developing a serious disease and increases the possibility of living a longer and better life.

Lesson 4
Even occasional drinking has a harmful effect on teens. Alcohol damages the brain and makes teens more likely to engage in risk behaviors. Use resistance skills to deal with the pressure to drink alcohol.

Lesson 5
Producing, buying, selling, or using either a controlled substance or a drug not permitted by law is illegal drug use. Use resistance skills and protective factors to maintain a drug-free lifestyle.
