About the Author

Dr. N. D. Vohra is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce at Ramjas College, University of Delhi. He obtained his postgraduate degree in commerce and doctorate in finance from Delhi School of Economics. His areas of interest are quantitative analysis including statistical analysis, and finance. He has been teaching since 1974 and has a wide experience including that at the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics for several years. He teaches Statistics and Operations Research to the M Com, MIB and MHROD students, in addition to teaching undergraduate students. Dr Vohra has also taught at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and some business schools.

Earlier, he served at Foundation of Technical Institutes, Iraq. Besides, he has served as Director of Research with the BLB group of companies. He has also served at Geaddu College of Business Studies, Bhutan.

Dr. Vohra has published papers on Derivatives and authored books Quantitative Techniques in Management and Futures and Options. Both of these have been published by Tata McGraw-Hill, New Delhi.
