Introduction

“Environment” is a big word that is used to cover a lot of different topics.  On the Web site below you will have a chance to explore many different topics that have to do with the environment.  You will also find out what you can do to help protect it.

Directions

  • Start at the “Eco Pros” Web site.
  • Look under the heading “Earth,” and read about the seven major areas of environmental concern. Take notes as you read. Next, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select a topic that sounds interesting to you under the heading, “Welcome to Eco-Pros.” Click on the link that will take you to more information on that topic and explore it. Take notes as you read.
  • When you finish reading, answer the questions below.
  • Finally, using the information you learned on the Web site, choose an issue that seems especially important to you. Create an illustrated pamphlet that tells other teens about the issue and what they can do to get involved.
