Introduction
Students have learned several strategies for collecting details and organizing them into a descriptive paragraph.

Lesson Description
Students will apply what they have learned about descriptive writing by identifying descriptive details in two images.

Instructional Objective
  1. Students will be able to identify details that are appropriate for a description of one of two pictures.
  2. Students will practice understanding how descriptive words can “paint a picture” in their writing.
