American Rhetoric is a comprehensive resource for public speeches. Thousands of speeches can be accessed in full text format as well as in audio and video formats when available.

  • The Online Speech Bank is an index over 5000 speeches, most with accompanying full text transcripts, audio, or video. The speeches are organized alphabetically.
  • The Top 100 Speeches is a ranking of the most significant American political speeches of the 20th century along with full text, audio, and video when available. The list is based on a survey of 137 leading scholars of American public address and compiled by Stephen E. Lucas and Martin J. Medhurst.
  • Rhetorical Literacy lists the 50 most important speeches in 21st century America and provides the audio.
