auditory:  A type of learning characterized by a preference for hearing new information. (p. 13)
kinesthetic:  A type of learning characterized by a preference for being physically involved in the learning activity. (p. 14)
learning styles:  The ways we take in, process, and understand new information. (p. 12)
leverage:  Something you can use to multiply or make the most of a strength. (p. 27)
pattern:  A physical connection, or pathway, between images in your mind that is built up over time. (p. 4)
