Explain the importance of having caregiving as curriculum. How might attachment be connected?

Reflect on how you get your needs met. How do you let others know you need help meeting your needs? What signs indicate that others have received your message? Are there other ways you might request help from others?

Objectification of people is when they are treated as objects. Think of ways you may have seen children treated as objects. Make a list of these interactions/behaviors. Could they have been avoided? What could have been an alternative interaction or behavior with that child at that given time?

Describe how you might react to a child who is having difficulty settling in and feeling comfortable at the center where you work? What might you do? What questions might you ask other caregivers, the parents, or the child?
