Chapter 3, exercise 3.22, page 88: The exercise is incomplete. The rest of the exercise should read:
“If the hypothesis is correct, what value of β2 would you expect?
(c) Which is a better hedge against inflation, gold or the stock market?”
Problem 9.29 on page 313. The reference group should be "female with no primary education and temporary jobs" not "male with no primary education and temporary jobs".
