Going, Going Green

Alexander Wolff explores a number of ways in which major sports organizations can reduce their carbon footprint. However, smaller organizations can also benefit the environment by becoming “green.” Imagine that the sports teams at your school want to become greener. With a partner, write a list of three steps you think these teams could take to reduce their carbon footprint. After each step, write one sentence explaining how this step will help the environment.
