Young Arthur

This story tells the tale of how young Arthur pulled the sword from the stone and became king. There are many versions of this story and many more tales of King Arthur. Write a skit that tells a new story of young Arthur. Write a script for a scene in which Arthur, Kay, and Sir Ector return home after Arthur has discovered he is king. In this scene, have the three characters tell the lady of the house what has happened. Be sure to capture each character’s reaction to what has happened. You might invent and include additional characters, such as neighbors or friends of the family. Present your skit to the class asking volunteers to read the different parts.
