Tracking Trash

The scientist in “Tracking Trash” describes the paths that different objects—Nike shoes, hockey gloves, and plastic toys—make across the oceans after they are accidentally dumped. Taking one of the objects from “Tracking Trash,” write a short story about its trip from one end of the earth to another. Write from the perspective of the object.
