Ta-Na-E-Ka

In “Ta-Na-E-Ka”, the narrator undergoes a test. She must spend five days outside of her house, and she must fend for herself. She responds by borrowing five dollars from her teacher and spending time with Ernie in his restaurant. Imagine that you are in her situation. How would you react?
