To Young Readers

“To Young Readers” is about the different purposes that books can serve. Do you have a favorite book? What is it? Write a paragraph about your favorite book. It can be any book—a book you read as a child, a book you recently read, a book that someone once read to you. As you write, explain why the book you chose is your favorite. Tell your reader how you felt as you read your favorite book.
