Objectives
  • Talk about French TV programs and daily life

  • Use vocabulary from Chapitre 12 to talk about daily routines

Notes

  • You may wish to brainstorm with students keywords in French that will help direct them to French-language Web sites to complete this WebQuest.
  • Advise students that the start times for all of the shows are in l’heure officielle. To convert this back to conversational time, they should subtract twelve from times 13 h (1:00 p.m.) and after. You can also refer them to the Chapitre 9 Connexions on page 314 of the textbook.

  • Students will need to know that les infos is the news.

Expansion

  • Have students identify how many of the programs they recognize from TV in the United States. Have them describe in their own words one program that they are not familiar with.
