Big Question Web Quest Lesson Plan

Introduction

In this unit, students have explored the topic of what reading has to offer. In this lesson, students will use reading skills to solve a mystery, crack codes, and decipher clues.

Lesson Description

Students will enter “Spy Training” on the Spy X website (http://www.scholastic.com/spyx/). During their training, students will create logbooks for website printouts and personal notes. When students finish their training, they will use their logbooks to complete a simulated mission. After the mission, each student will fill out a certificate. Both the logbook and the certificate must be turned in for full credit.

2. Students will use reading and critical thinking skills to solve a mystery.
3. Students will create logbooks for website printouts and note taking.
