Their coming, however, disrupted the homes and livelihoods of those people who already lived here. Sometimes these different cultures were able to work together. More frequently, they clashed. In this activity you will learn more of the details of Wampanoag life. Sometimes rumor and distrust can lead to a tremendous loss of life and property.
