Find Information on a Web site
With your teacher's permission, go to one of the following online bookstores by clicking the link below or entering the URL in your browser:

Amazon.com
Barnes and Noble

Note: If either of the links is inactive, or if you need to find other Internet sites with similar information, use a search engine. Here is a keyword you might use: online bookstore.

Do a Search Once you are on the Web site's home page, look for a search box. In the box, key the name Mark Twain . You may also narrow the search by clicking a drop-down menu to specify the category for the search. In this case you would choose “book.” Then click the Search or Go button.

When you get to the page with the search results, find the titles of ten books written by or about Mark Twain. Some of the titles may be duplicated in different editions, so you may have to click through a number of pages to find ten different books.

Choose one Mark Twain book that interests you and click on the book's link. You may have to search the page a bit to answer the following questions.

1
List ten Mark Twain titles from the Web site.
2
Key the title and cost of one of the books.
3
How many pages are in the book?
4
Who is the publisher?
5
Key a short quote from a review.
