Make a Chart

Make a list of questions you should ask a financial planner to see if he or she is the right one for you. Use these questions to create a chart. Leave room in the chart for answers. Make three copies of the chart. Call three different types of financial planners, politely introduce yourself, explain that you are conducting research for a school assignment, ask for a time when you can conduct a ten-minute phone interview with the financial planner. Fill out the three copies of your chart with answers from each of the three financial planners you interview. Decide which one you would recommend and explain why.
