Web Quest

Introduction
Humans are loyal and humans betray. Is such behavior part of our nature? Does society or environment shape our sense of loyalty? What factors determine whether or not we are loyal? This issue arises in all kinds of situations—politics, literature, and even our personal relationships.

In this exercise, you will read about political loyalty and betrayal—the world of spies and the experience of Japanese Americans during World War II. Then you will write about the most important factors you believe influence feelings of loyalty or betrayal in your relationships in the classroom, within your family, or with your peers.
